Guidelines for Submission to Maritime Issues
The Maritime Issues welcomes original ideas, analysis and reports on sea-related affairs ranging from maritime politics, security, law, economy and resources, and environment in all oceanic regions. It encourages interdisciplinary approach, bold thinking, and innovative ideas that go beyond the confines of national policy lines and institutional identities.
The Maritime Issues seeks:
All submitted works must be exclusive to the Maritime Issues due to possible copyright and legal restrictions.
Submissions must be sent by email attachment only. Please direct submissions to: maritime@maritimeissues.com. Please also provide a short two to three sentence biography at the end of your work.

The Maritime Issues seeks:
- commentaries, insights, and reviews on key events and major issues, which should range between 800 and 1500 words.
- Featured articles, which provide insights into historical and political background and in-depth analysis on relevant topics, with a length between 2000 and 3000 words.
- Research-based papers and reports between 5000 and 7000 words.
